Well, Finland is a wonderful country with a swedish legacy.

Porvoo is a small town in southern Finland, it is also one of the six medieval towns in Finland, first mentioned as a city in texts from 14th century.

Porvoo also has a certain point of intersection with russian history - that's the town, where Alexander I, the russian emperor confirmed the new Finnish constitution and made Finland an autonomous Grand Duchy.

Okay, enough with history, i must say, i really love this photo. I don't know, the night look of these warehouses remind me of some good old times, something like 16-17th centuries...

The picture is small cause it looks good if it's extremely small or full-sized, there's no third option. Hope you'll like it.

This deviation is really eye pleasing because of the warm tones. I really like how you managed to capture this town so beautifully. Winter shots usually get very cold but this one is very cozy. What adds up to the cozyness and softness is the slight blur at the top part of the image. This draws the attention of the viewer to the houses, where comfy looking houses meet the eye. You portray this town so nicely I want to live there :D The lights make this photo a little mystical and I think it would have been a lot less good if they weren't there. Keep up the great work! :)
